Find the right care at Altus Integrated Health
How long is a first visit?
A first chiropractic visit usually takes about 20 to 30 minutes. A first physiotherapy visit takes about 40 to 45 minutes. Both start with your history and an assessment, then a plan you make together with your practitioner.
Do I need a referral to book an appointment?
No referral is required. You can book online or call us, and our front desk will help you find the right practitioner for what you're dealing with.
Do you offer direct billing?
Yes, we direct bill most major insurance providers for eligible plans. If you're unsure about your coverage, our team can help you check your benefits before your visit.
Is it normal to feel sore after a first visit?
Yes. Feeling a little sore for 24 to 48 hours is common, because your body is being moved and assessed in ways it isn't used to.
Which location should I book at?
We have two Abbotsford clinics: McCallum Road and Ventura Avenue. Both have free parking and wheelchair access. If you're unsure which suits you, our team will help when you book.
Can I see more than one type of practitioner?
Yes. Your physiotherapist, chiropractor, massage therapist and kinesiologist can work together on your care, and they talk to each other about your case before handing you over.
